Particle Physics Elective Coursework Final: Parity Violation in Electron Scattering

In my particle physics elective, I learned how theoretical formulation and experimental analysis came together to produce knowledge that is essential for our current and future understanding of the fundamentals of nature. In this showcased coursework final, I applied studied principles and data analysis to SLAC data from the E-158 experiment to confirm the discovery of parity violation in electron scattering. I was introduced to new tools, such as LaTeX and 3D particle simulation in Python.
